The vison for ICE CARE GROUP came from a lifelong passion of working with the disabled community.
For over 20 years I worked as an Educator for students with special needs. I loved working in that field but knew that I wanted to do more to serve those with cognitive disabilities.
Being the parent of a child with IDD, I was determined to help him embrace his disability and deal with the challenges of the future. After my son graduated from high school, I found that there was a serious need for providing a safe, caring, stable living environment for persons with developmental disorders. My goal was to help make the transition from home to independent living as easy as possible. This experience led me to formulate ICE CARE GROUP.
ICE CARE GROUP is designed to give residents a sense of home while promoting independence and social skills in a world that is still learning how to deal with the disabled.
